The Chinese Glacier Inventory contains information for about 26000 glaciers throughout the world. Parameters within the inventory include geographic location, area, length, orientation, elevation, and classification of morphological type, and moraines.

Chinese Spatial Glacier Inventory Data

The Chinese spatial glacier inventory data would be finished in this year. When the glacier data are digitalized, two data resources are involved. One is the galcier distribution maps which are attached with the more than 20 books. These books are Chinese glaicer inventory and edited by the Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, CAS. The other is the topographical maps with the scale of 100,000 .
