Summary:

The ten day synthesis data of Normalized Difference Snow Index (NDSI) from SPOT satellite data cover the time span from Oct, 1999 to Feb, 2005. The calculation formula is same as the TM NDSI and MODIS NDSI method.

Data spatial resolution:

1km*1km

File name description:

yymmdndsii.dat, here yy is the year, mm is the month, d is the index of ten day for current month. For example, 00102ndsii.data presents tthe second ten day synthesis NDSI data in Oce, 2000.

File format:

All of NDSI data were saved as the binary file, every data was stored with 2 bites and 5489rows * 7001cols. There is a C language example to read the data in the directory of data.
